
Lanke contracted for the design work of Sinopec Luoyang Branch 1# 1,400,000 MT/YR CCU fule gas desulfurization denitration project in May, 2014. Located in Jili District of Luoyang, the design scale of the project is 150,000 Nm3/h and the detailed engineering design was completed by the end of Oct, 2014 by Lanke and medium delivery was achieved in Dec, 2014.
Built in 1984, Sinopec Luoyang Branch 1# CCU has the capacity of the heavy oil processing capacity 1,400,000 tons / year with the high and low side-by- side catalytic cracking installation. The heavy oil processing process changed and the feeds turned into wax oil from the mixture of heavy oil, low pressure wax oil and DAO after the oil quality upgrading transformation project in 2008. With the driving of the wax oil hydrogenation processing apparatus in June, 2009, the process gradually realize the full hydrogenation wax oil feeding and the sulfur content is about 0.2% in the feeds. Regeneration flue gas released by Sinopec Luoyang Branch 1# FCC was test and calculated by Research Institute of Petroleum Processing in 2012. With the normal feedstock and operating conditions, the SO2 concentration in the regeneration flue gas is 822 mg/m3 and NOx emission concentration is 180 ~ 300 mg / m3. Recycled flue gas emissions meet the relevant national standards.
According to the provisions of “petroleum refining industrial pollutants emission standards (comment draft)”, flue gas emissions content the concentration of SO2 is no more than 400mg / m3 , NOx is no more than 200mg / m3 and dust is no more than 50mg / m3 since July 1st, 2014 and Sinopec Luoyang Branch will be synchronized with the implementation of the new standards. Estimated by Research Institute of Petroleum Processing, flue gases released by 1# FCC have the higher concentration of SO2, NOx compared to the new standards and it is necessary to have the flue gas desulfurization and denitrification to meet the increasingly stringent environmental requirements and improve the environment. The flue gas emission will meet the standards with the completion of the project.
